Other island attractions, including the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, The Lost Colony, Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and The Elizabethan Gardens, are only minutes away by bike or car. A paved bike path traverses the island from the Nags Head causeway through town to the Manns Harbor Bridge at the northernmost part of the island.
